Sales Manager Poland – Food Ingredients

Responsibilities

- Your main responsibility will be to develop business relations in the industry concentrating in the food, food supplement, cosmetics, pet food and feed business within the Poland market
- Maintaining contact with existing key customers
- Development of customer relations through presales and after sales technical support including plant trials when necessary
- Maintaining  database of customers with full details and activities on day to day basis
- Budget preparation for the local market
- Preparation of yearly business plans for the local market
- Carrying out market analysis and reporting to identify needs, trends and market competition as well as to identify new business opportunities
- Offering technical support to other sales members in the region during visits with key accounts
- Close cooperation and coordination with R&D , QA/QC, technical support services at  the head office
- Preparation of weekly and monthly reports
- Helping with marketing plan preparation for the local market
- Preparation for and visiting trade shows and fairs
- Accompanying customers to visit renovation centre at head office
- Reporting to and close cooperation with the VP Sales at head office
- Relocation to the center of Poland is required

Requirements

- Master’s degree in Food Science, Chemical or Pharmaceutical industry
- Minimum 8 years experience in a technical food ingredient sales role
- Excellent experience in the food ingredients business is a must with preference in natural extracts, food enhancement, food protection, natural sweeteners or similar
- Proven experience in direct sales to the food manufacturing industry
- Ability to make independent decisions and professional approach to contract negotiations
- You must be self motivated, ability to work independently and create your own success
- Open to work in a “home office" environment
- Responsible for your own profit centre
- Fluent English is a must
