Country Manager Poland - E-Commerce Distribution Center
Place of work - Poznań

Responsibilities:

- Support with organization expansion in Poland
- Lead all operations to ensure that the established procedures, plans and programs for the company are understood and implemented to achieve revenue and goals
- Build, lead, coach and develop local team in a fulfilment warehouse environment.
- Motivate, mentor and manage your team, and ensure they have all the tools needed to succeed in Poland.
- Build and leading the local team, including recruiting, vetting, and scheduling training as required
- Establishing and maintaining a trusting, inclusive and productive environment
- Address performance problems promptly and directly
- Use WMS systems and other tools to monitor and manage operations performance against agreed KPIs
- Seek out ways to optimize the processes in order to improve productivity
- Work with senior management group to establish and implement short-term goals that are consistent with company´s long-term plans
- Consult with senior management group on important issues, operational concerns, personnel matters, capital expenditures and all commitments obligating the company
- Liaise with head office and other affiliates to formulate solutions for challenges and opportunities identified , taking ownership of the challenges and opportunities to meet customer needs by working with all the relevant teams
- Establish and maintain relationships with customs, logistics organizations and related local partners to ensure business growth in Poland
- Source, select and develop suppliers in Poland for both new and existing business
- Uphold organization policies and procedures, ensuring legislative regulations are followed
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in business administration, management or a related field preferred
- Min 10 years’ experience in leading a 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) - ECommerce Distribution, distribution or similar organization
- Strong team leadership experience in the transportation/ 3rd party logistics industry or a similar fast-paced logistics/distribution environment is a must
- Wide logistics industry network and media contacts base in Poland
- Experience in working in an international environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and Polish languages
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure
- Valid Driving License
