Sales Engineer Poland - Vacuum Pumps

Main Objective
To position the company as the main supplier of products and services through the effective management of direct and Indirect accounts Development and execution of sales plans, targets and forecasts within the region and in line with the regional sales strategy. Maintain records of all activity in line with the business strategy and to achieve or exceed the defined targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business plans for the Direct & Indirect account base to drive growth and achievement of revenue and profit goals
- Prepare and adopt a rolling plan to maximise customer facing time within the territory, target >60% of time in direct contact, working in the field with customers
- Support when necessary the Distribution partners
- Create and implement initiatives that will enable to deliver sales objectives towards the regional strategy
- Achieve revenue and profit goals for the direct account base
- Provide a monthly report for the territory, including performance updates and future plans
- Keep detailed records and fully maintain and update the company systems including CRM, BPC & C4C
- Provide customer visit reports, and the execution of actions arising from the visit
- Close cooperation with support teams and internal marketing / product teams to provide first class support to the customer base
- Manage customer payment performance through close collaboration with the customer and credit control team
- Work closely with sales management and the wider sales team to ensure transparent management of the business area.
- Take the lead and manage the engagement of as many functional departments as required, ensuring that the company is viewed as the premium supplier by the customer.
- In conjunction with the Product Division plans, develop new product launch plans for the customer base.
- Provide monthly Orders and Sales forecast
- Report on competitor activities.
Requirements:
- Engineering Degree in Technical Discipline (Engineering /Science/ Chemistry/Physics) preferred or relevant market experience
- 2-3 years’ experience in a technical sales role, selling products and solutions to industrial customers, product and application knowledge, practical knowledge of the vacuum market is an advantage.
- Strong presentation skills, to be practiced at senior levels within the customer base and territory and within the Group
- Strong Direct Selling experience and negotiation skills is required, ability to look for and follow up on leads, generate new potential projects, product presentations, offer preparation and negotiations
- Ability to work as part of a team, or to influence other departments within the Group in the execution of an account or territory strategy
- Strong commercial and organization skills
- Good understanding of contractual terms and conditions and negotiations
- Strong problem solving skills, excellent communications skills
- Ability to emphasize, outline and sell the strengths of the solutions
- Very good written and spoken English is a must
- Extensive travelling within Poland with occasional travel abroad
