Our client is an international brand leader, manufacturer of advanced industrial shredding equipment with over 40 years history, with clients worldwide. Due to continued development on the Polish market we are now looking for an experienced professional to take on the challenging role of:
Sales Manager Poland – Global Brand in Industrial Shredding Technology
Home Office
Area of Responsibility – all of Poland
Responsibilities:
- Direct Sales of advanced shredding technology, initiate, develop and build professional business relationships and new sales opportunities in the area of responsibility (industry – sales of shredding machines for waste management and material recycling - investment product sales)
- Actively seeking opportunities with subsequent project management
- Market research, proposal and implementation of sales strategies, competitor analysis
- Prepare and manage professional quotations, active follow-up and successful conversion into orders, commercial negotiations
- Offering technical support to customers, understanding their business needs, up-sales, key account management
- Provide accurate and timely forecasting and reporting within agreed deadlines
- Travelling to clients sites all over Poland
- Independent role – no team management
- Close cooperation with the Sales and Technical Departments in HQ regarding offer preparation, client requirements, technical offer, etc.)
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical) will be a strong asset
- Technical background – experience in sales of advanced industrial technology/machines/equipment – investment products
- 5-8 years’ experience in professional sales, business development, technical sales, project sales, technical support in an industrial environment
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Good command of English is a must
- Hands-on approach with multi-tasking skills, ability to manage projects from start to delivery completion
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving and self-management skills
- Willingness to travel within the region to meet customers and present products and the technical advantages of such investments
- Driving license
