Plant Manager/Site Manager Poland
Place of work: Lódź

 

Responsibilities:

- Overall management of daily operations of the facility, P&L responsibility, budget planning and execution
- Ensure compliance to all budgets and manage communication for management and supervise overall performance of local team (up to 100 employees)
- Provide support to all facility activities: technical, quality, maintenance, logistics
- Support the local team to ensure compliance to all schedule for machines and facilities (service and maintenance), support the installation of any new equipment/machines
- Maintain optimal level of customer service, generate new business opportunities
- Ensure business development of the company and its' services in Poland
- HR responsibility, recruitment, team leading, perform regular appraisals for personnel, ensure adequate introduction and trainings are provided for all employees, ensure workforce is available to meet order demands
- Maintain efficient quality of all services within required budget and prepared schedule
- Ensuring all H&S standards are adhered to: quality, environment and safety, including supervision of safe operations of the facility, compliance with health and safety rules and quality requirements
- Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems, complete audits, identify market trends
- Implement change and/or develop new processes as required by the business
- Report to and support the company owner, main stakeholders at European HQ
- Work with regional managers at HQ (finance, quality, technical, business development etc.)
- Cooperation with other facility leaders in the region

Requirements:

- Higher level Education preferred, engineering or similar
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading a medium size manufacturing/production facility (production/operations/finance/HR/technical aspects)
- Strong technical skills, eye for detail and quality focused approach
- You must be business/operations oriented, with a flair for ideas, good business orientation
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, in a performance oriented, fast-paced environment
- Strong organization and planning, problem-solving, time management, interpersonal and team leadership skills
- Hands-on, leadership management style, dedicated, hard-working person
- Very good English is required
- Demonstrated leadership skills and decision-making experience
