Oracle Database Administrator
Warsaw
Responsibilities
- Manage and document the Oracle & MS SQL & My SQL database infrastructure
- Design, installation, creation, backup and replication of new databases
- Maintenance, monitoring and tuning of Oracle & MS SQL & My SQL databases
- Install and configure components to ensure database security access as well as database consistency and integrity
- Respond to and resolve database access and performance issues
- Manage Unix bases systems: SUN Solaris
- Leading database projects
- Providing consulting advice to developers.
Requirements
- Higher education in Information technology
- Experience in Oracle 10g and 11g database administration and installations skills on Unix servers (Sun Solaris)
- MS SQL 2008 & My SQL 5.x administration skills on Windows servers
- Minimum 2 or 3 years experience working as a Oracle DBA and basic Unix administration knowledge
- Automation of administration and monitoring tasks
- Ability to work independently, organized and results driven
- Proactive attitude to continuous improvement
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a good command of written and spoken English (fluent)
