Our client is an international leader in development of solutions for the finance, banking and insurance industry. Due to continued development we are now looking for an experienced professional to join their team in Poland on the position of:
 
Software Test Engineer/Senior Test Engineer
Gdańsk

Responsibilities:

  • Software Testing based on industry best practice and experience
  • Review software requirements documentation & specifications
  • Create and maintain Test Cases from requirements documentation & specifications
  • Carry out Test scripts and test cases
  • Test & Defect Reporting based on industry best practice
  • Liaise with the Project Management and Development teams to ensure adherence to quality during the development and testing process
  • Test Planning and resourcing
  • Test Risk Management & mitigation
  • Test Summary & Exit Reports to Project Stream Leads
  • Provide status reports to QA team lead on test activities
  • Troubleshooting and analysis
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to other team members

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years software testing experience in web based software
  • Working knowledge of Relational databases/ANSI SQL (ORACLE, DB2 or SQL Server)
  • ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (or equivalent) an advantage
  • Detailed knowledge of test & software development lifecycles
  • Project leadership experience
  • Strong test analysis/investigative skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferably with experience working directly with customers
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to client sites when necessary
  • Fluency in verbal and written English required
