Finance Controller - Manufacturing
Lublin
Responsibilities:
* Setting up, monitoring and improving the financial controls at the new facility in Poland
* Manufacturing cost and inventory management
* Partnering with the General Manger and Group Management team in setting up and implementing the manufacturing strategy
* Reporting on variances in production process
* Identifying and implementing cost improvements
* Reporting monthly accounts to parent company
* Coordinating inventory counts and safeguarding inventory controls
* Measuring and communicating KPIs
* Maintaining financial controls
* Continuous improving of ERP functionality
* Participating in budgeting, planning
* Local treasury and tax management
* Local tax, legal and audit requirements
* Analyzing and planning investments and business decisions
* Contributing to process improvement and documentation
* Supporting production and component planning and strategy
* Optimizing logistics within the Group
* Joining the local GM and Group management team in manufacturing strategy and company planning
* Report to the Vice President for Finance and Corporate Development based in Central Europe
Requirements:
* Higher level education in Finance/Economics or Business Administration
* Minimum 8 years experience in a Finance Controller role within a manufacturing environment
* Experience in an international working environment with hands-on experience in international reporting standards
* Excellent practical experience in working with ERP system in production control and finance reporting, Navision would be a distinct advantage
* Ability to act on own initiative and challenge financial and management reports
* Fluent English is a must
* Strong management skills and ability to communicate across functions within the Group
* Excellent planning and organization skills always focusing on the business needs
* Strong analytical skills
* Commitment and results focused
* Willingness to travel as required by business
