Finance/Accounting

• Working in close cooperation with the Plant Manager you will ensure accurate finance control within the production area – cost calculations, production area investments, raw materials, quality system etc.
• Creation of finance plans and budgeting reports
• Ensuring accurate business analysis to identify opportunities, risks, needs, improvements, internal external factor influences etc.
• Creation and maintenance of an internal control system in line with Group standards
• Monitor all processes and optimization proposals
• Working within capital management and control standards
• Setting up cost centre , payment terms, intercompany cash flow
• Development and support of cost accounting in accordance with company rules regarding inventory valuation, investment controlling, liquidity etc.
• Ensure on-time and accurate delivery of Financial reports (monthly, budget, estimates, long –term planning
• Developing accurate reporting tools
• Co-operation with external auditors
• Supporting the Management board and team with on-going internal issues
• Active membership of the Management committee
• Management of a small finance team

Requirements:

• Higher level education in Finance/Economics or Business Administration
• Minimum 6-7 years experience in a Finance Controller role within industry sector
• Experience in an international working environment with hands-on experience in international reporting standards (IRS), GAAP standards
• Excellent practical experience in working with ERP systems (production control and finance reporting)
• Ability to act on own initiative and challenge financial and management reports
• Knowledge of Lean Management standards, Six Sigma
• Very good knowledge of German and English language is a must
• Strong management skills and ability to communicate across functions within the Group
• Excellent planning and organization skills always focusing on the business needs
• Strong analytical skills
• Commitment and results focused
• Willingness to travel as required by business
