Senior Contracts Manager
Place of work – South of Poland
Responsibilities:
- Negotiating contract terms and conditions of business based on client requirements in engineering, construction and procurement (EPC) and long term independent power producer (IPP) contracts
- Directly involved in tender and contract negotiations with clients and other stakeholders
- Reviewing and analysing tender and contractual documentation with a focus on technical guarantees (completion, performance)
- Assessing business/contractual risks, informing and seeking appropriate approvals from corporate and board levels before tender submission and contract execution
- Working with the functional discipline areas during tender preparation phase (planning, purchasing, finance, engineering, operations, marketing & sales,) as the key point of contact regarding contractual and partnership provisions
- Preparing internal reports for the group headquarters (team and corporate levels)
Requirements:
* Higher education: Master’s degree in Engineering
* Minimum 7 years experience in a similar role with at least 3 years practical experience in contract negotiations in one or all of the following sectors: infrastructure, engineering or construction, energy, water and/or renewable energy sectors
* Knowledge of legal issues and common contract terms and conditions is a must
* Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate clearly within an international environment at all levels
* Self motivated, proactive and trustworthy with the ability to work independently
* Very good English is a must
* Willingness to relocate to south of Poland is a must
