Our client, international leader in the construction industry, due to continued development, is now looking for an experienced professional who will be involved in a road development project in central Poland region. You will be working on the position of:
Senior Project Manager/Contractor Representative – Motorways
Responsibilities:
- Managing all on-going project plans between the Client (public sector) and Contractor
- Ensuring all project plans, schedules and deadlines are running according to plans and according to FIDIC standards
- Acting as a representative for solving problems and clearing deadlocks
- Work with the construction / projects managers proactively and effectively, fulfilling the contractual obligations and keeping control on budgets
- Work closely with the project manager to support and recommend strategies, to identify any potential risks or issues and to find an appropriate resolution
- Maintain a close working relationship with the Client, his representatives and the Contractor
- On completion of project, organization of the building acceptance procedures and closing all documentation
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering/Construction with roads specialization
- An Engineering License is a must – roads/bridges
- At least 10 years experience in a senior engineering role with strong project management experience
- Extensive experience in roads construction is required.
- Excellent proven experience in working with FIDIC standards is a must
- Excellent communication skills.
- Hands-on approach, strong technical background and experience in working within an international environment.
- Fluent English a must
- Willingness to relocate
- The contract is for fixed term of minimum 12 months
