Our client, international leader in the construction industry, due to continued development, is now looking for an experienced professional who will be involved in a new roads development project in the kujawsko-pomorskie region, Poland. You will be working on the position of:

Responsibilities:

• Overall you will be responsible for managing and controlling costs within construction projects
• The role will involve assisting the senior quantity surveyor with all site duties including preparing bills of quantities, reporting, measurement and payment processing
• Liaising with the Design Team and Client on all cost issues
• Organizing and chairing pre-award meetings with the Contracts manager and new Sub-
• Contractors in conjunction with the construction team
• Managing and controlling all commercial contractual matters and continuously reviewing and upgrading
• Monitoring project budgets
• Negotiating and purchasing of Sub-Contract Packages
• Closely monitor and process all project variations
• Develop and enhance relationship with their clients
• Measurement of interim and final account payments
• Producing monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts
• Preparing bills of quantities

Requirements:

• Masters or Degree qualification in Construction or Engineering related field
• Minimum 3 Years civil commercial management experience. Motorway experience would be an advantage
• Fluent English
• Polish building license
• Ability to relocate
