Account Manager – Eastern Balkans - Romania
Place of work: home office (Romania)
Responsibilities:
* Grow sales within existing Clients and generate additional sales growth/ profit through the identification and development of new Clients
* Generate customer requirements through sales visits and close customer contact, actively visit the larger end-user accounts and any prospect identified
* Assist and issue professional, technical quotations and maximizing margin
* Liaise with Application Engineers, customers and other Account Managers for all technical questions on special products
* Liaise with colleagues to ensure that opportunities for product and market development are identified and actioned
* Ensure promotion of products and services by organizing technical presentations, demonstrations and trainings
* Recommend technical solutions to end users
* Travel within the region and elsewhere as required
* Report regularly on opportunities, current quotation status and expected orders and use these information for a proper forecast
* Lead and coordinate marketing activities such as VOC, exhibitions, market mapping etc.
* Provide appropriate reporting as per required e.g. score card, visit reports etc.
* Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, both internally and externally. Be an ambassador for the businesses.
Requirements:
* Relevant Technical Degree (BSc) or Commercial Degree
* Must have a technical affinity and understanding of industrial sales and have worked in this field for a minimum of 5 years
* Specialist industry experience is required, knowledge of machining, hydraulic or the heavy lifting and construction is a plus
* Must be confident in delivering and writing presentations to deliver to both external and internal customers
* Able to work to deadlines; excellent organizational skills and can apply structured and methodic work style. Works well with minimal supervision; self-discipline and motivation.
* English language skills both verbal and written – is a must
* Good working knowledge of Office software knowledge of a CRM package is beneficial.
* Must be willing to travel for at least 60-80% of their time within the allocated region, making effective customer visits.
