supplement  and agriculture industries. With state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, they are supplying
main global players in food and dairy processing, beverages, meat and poultry processing, confectionery
industries, to mention a few. Due to continued development we are now looking for an experienced
professional for the challenging role of:

 

Business Unit Manager Colours – Central and Eastern Europe

 

The aim of this role is to develop the sales of natural colours within Central and Eastern Europe with strategic accounts present in the region and existing local customers. You will apply the local sales strategy agreed with the Group Sales and Marketing plans.

 

Responsibilities:

* Develop and deliver an ambitious three year plan which is in line with company objectives
* Implement the global sales process according to management
* Provide market data regarding customer and competitor activities
* Manage actively a number of key accounts and set up distributor network where feasible
* Implement the relevant reporting structure to share information with the whole CEE team and group management
* Work closely with Sales Director, Customer Service Manager and  Finance Manager to provide accurate forecasting and setting ambitious but realistic annual budgets
* Cooperate closely with marketing department to develop annual plans regarding market campaigns and other relevant marketing activities
* Manage and develop regional sales representatives to ensure:

- Sales Excellence process is implemented with representatives in the region
- Proper mapping, planning, executing, forecasting and reporting of plans and results

* Carry out unit review to highlight promising profiles and spot potential issues
* Evaluate twice yearly the level of motivation and take relevant actions after validation with Sales Director
* Be an active, constructive member of the regional managerial sales team
* Suggest structure improvements
* Lead trans functional projects
* Develop strong relationships with marketing and product management departments
* Be an expert user of management and reporting tools to lead and support the sales team

 

Requirements:

* Higher education qualification in Food Science or related discipline
* Minimum 5 years experience in a senior B2B sales management/business development management/key account management role
* Proven experience in the food /beverages ingredients/natural colours/fragrances industries in a B2B business model is a must
* Experience in working within an international structure as part of an international team
* Strong team management skills with hands-on approach
* Excellent communication and organization skills
* Strong negotiation and presentation skills
* Very good English is a must, knowledge of Russian a distinct advantage
* Availability to travel in the region
