Our client is a well known, international leader in the production of office furniture, warehouse, industrial storage and organization solutions (such as metal racking systems,  shelving solutions,  storage cabinets, work stations, etc). The company has a modern, state-of-the-art production facility in Poland and others in the region. Due to continued growth and new product introduction on the Poland market,  we are now looking for an experienced professional to manage the local sales office on the position of:

 

General Manager Poland
pomorskie district

 

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for building of sales and marketing strategies in Poland
- Developing sales strategies and setting sales targets, compiling and analyzing sales figures
- Completion of sale goals through business channels (online catalogues, printed catalogues, direct price offers, B2B field sales activities)
- Active participation in creation of catalogue, guaranteeing effectiveness and  correctness of the product offer in all trade channels
- Commercial business until P&L management
- Monitoring and motivating the team’s performance in reaching targets
- Negotiation of commercial terms with customers
- Intensify all active customers and the number of orders in pipeline
- Optimization of the e- commerce offer in terms of visibility in search engines
- Collecting customer feedback and market research
- Maintaining a positive image of the company among customers and industry markets
- Reporting to The Board at central European headquarters

 

Requirements:

- Higher education, preferred economic or management and marketing
- At least 5 years experience as a general manager, sales and marketing manager or similar
- Sales department experience in B2B sales (catalogue/online-sales/B2B)
- Practical knowledge of marketing activities/brand awareness building
- Excellent management, sales and negotiation skills
- Proven experience in leading a sales team
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Orientation on result and achieving goals
- Competencies: building customer relationships with ability to support their needs
- Very good written and spoken English is a must
