Due to continued growth in the region, we are now looking for a professional to join the team and develop sales and business relations in the Baltic countries locally.
Technical Sales Representative – Industrial Powder Coatings – B2B sales
Region: Baltic Countries (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia)
Place of work: Home office
Responsibilities:
- Active sales in the region B2B (aluminum paint shops, medium and large production facilities – furniture, construction facades, gates and fencing, automotive parts, AGD, joinery, machines etc.)
- Look after and develop existing customers, increasing level and value of orders
- Product presentation, offer preparation and negotiations
- Plan optimal plans for client visits in the field (lithuania, Latvia and Estonia)
- Take part in testing applications at the client site, with support from technologist at HQ
- Attend trade fairs, workshops, conferences and industry related events
- Manage database of clients
- Market analysis and following competitor activities
- Cooperate with suppliers of painting equipment
- Coordinate realization of orders – with support from regional logistics department
- Ensure positive image of the company, keeping strong relations with clients
- Frequent travelling in the field, in the region, visiting clients, as well as visits to HQ (trainings, internal sales meetings)
- Close cooperation with central HQ and regional teams
- Direct report to Regional Managing Director
Requirements:
- Minimum secondary level education, preferred higher technical education (wood technology, chemistry, production engineering or similar)
- 2-3 years’ experience in sales of coatings, paints, surface treatment, painting technology/machines, surface preparation chemicals or similar
- Knowledge of industrial powder coatings or liquid coatings/paints is a must
- Professional ability to select appropriate products and solutions to meet the client needs
- We are open to professionals with experience in powder or liquid coatings, surface preparation chemicals , abrasive blasting, painting machine suppliers, equipment or parts for paint shops
- Strong sales skills, ability to work and sell effectively premium products
- Client focused, ability to look for solutions, understanding client needs and technical expectations
- Ability to prepare sales and technical reports (Excel)
- Good Russian and English language a must
- Well organized, ability to work independently, dynamic hands-on approach
- Ability to work on own initiative, eager to look for new sales opportunities, supporting clients on decision making and optimal technical solutions
- Good team player, professional and strong business culture, excellent communication skills
- Open to travel extensively
- Driving license
