Our client is an international leader in the paper distribution industry. Due to continued development on the Poland market we are now looking for an experienced professional to take on the role of Logistics Director. The main task is to guarantee the management of local distribution of goods to clients according to defined conditions and plans through managing the logistics and warehouse processes and assigned teams.

Responsibilities:
* Working within the local management committee and cooperating closely with local management board
* Taking part in strategic operational meetings and decisions
* Overall responsibility for optimization of the goods flow process in the local distribution centers
* Ensuring proper distribution of goods to clients in all regions in line with budget, client requirements and delivery conditions
* Responsible for warehouse optimization process
* Management of local team of up 50 and responsible for: recruitment, coaching, motivation and development in relation to logistics and internal information flow
* Determine plans and targets for team achievement
* Continuous improvement and optimization of internal warehouse and distribution processes
* Management of SAP process related to logistics and warehouse
* Responsible for ensuring proper health and safety standards at work place
* Overseeing proper operations in warehouse
Requirements:
* Higher level education in related discipline such as logistics/transport/production
* Minimum 5 years professional experience in logistics and warehouse management
* At least 3 years proven team management experience
* Experience and hands-on practical experience in project management
* Strategic approach with wide knowledge of logistics management and processes
* Experience in working on internal ERP system such as SAP
* Very good English is a must
* Open, communicative with strong leadership skills
* Strong decision making and negotiation skills
