For our Client, new indoor theme (amusement) park for children in Poland, foreign investment, we are looking for a competent candidate for the position of:
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Location: Lubuskie
Responsibilities:
- managing maintenance and operations of the park
- managing a team of 20 people (ride operators, cashiers, animators, customer service)
- planning and implementing strategies to achieve constant improvements in visitor and employee satisfaction;
- conducting regular inspections of the operations
- keeping abreast of developments in the industry, both internal and external, such as changes in legislation;
- overseeing the effective application of health and safety regulations and risk assessment to ensure a safe environment for park employees and the public;
- project managing general park developments, including ride design;
- liaising with contractors, e.g. for the installation and integration of facilities;
- dealing with human resources and personnel;
- maintaining regular communication and a positive working relationship with Partners
- understanding local community issues and building relationships with local government and external partners;
- monitoring competition
- reporting to the General Manager in Poland and to the owners abroad
Requirements:
- high degree of communication and customer service attitude. Strong cultural awareness is essential.
- minimum 2-3 years of Guest service industry experience is a must
- leisure / travel / tourism industry experience will be an advantage
- very good English is a must / good command of German will be a strong asset
- good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- able to formulate long term work goals and plans
- very strong managerial skills
- passion for customer service
- work in the outdoor environment and 7 days a week is required
- driver’s license B
