Our client is an international player, leader in the production of roof windows and related accessories. Due to continued growth on the Polish market we are now looking for an experienced professional for the challenging role of:  


Area Sales Manager

Region: łódzkie i kujawsko-pomorskie

Place of work: home office


Tasks & Responsibility:

* Acquiring and growing the number of dealers in-line with company target and strategies.
* Presenting solutions to key decision makers in target and / or existing organisations that can affect and grow sales. Ultimate responsibility for the introduction and correct positioning of products right from inception to completion.
* Working on an area level with branches to devise joint initiatives on delivering product awareness and promotional activities to their customer base.
* Continually looking at all opportunities to up-sell product offering, illustrating cash and margin growth to customers as part of managing their roof window category.
* Being responsible for sales to retail outlets, roof window installers and distributors in the given area
* Implementing strategies and promotions which have been negotiated at head office and in Poland.
* Managing and developing the accounts in line with group strategy
* Ensuring that staff at outlet level are motivated and supported to make a success of the agreement
* Take overall responsibility for negotiations and sales at a builders’ merchant account situated in the given area
* Constantly striving for new ways to exploit market


Desired Skills & Experience:

* A degree or business qualification is preferred
* At least 2 years sales experience          
* Very good English is a must  
* Working knowledge of MSW office
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and be at ease in making new contacts and developing strong relationships
* Good team player and ability to work remotely
* Forward thinking and good interpersonal skills
* Adaptability to a continuously growing and changing environment
* Availability and willingness to travel
* Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
* Acceptance of being home office based linked to the other members of the team by state-of-the-art communications technology
* Valid driving license
